Job Description

  • Pump Sales or Application Knowledge Required
  • Proactive selling | promoting Unibloc® products [Pumps, Valves & Strainers] to existing and new market segments and territories
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers
  • For Assigned Region/Industry, generate:
    • Sales strategies | market surveys | execute sales plans
    • Pricing | Delivery Proposals for Products - OEMs, Distributors & End Users based on technical customer specs
  • Work in team environment to achieve company sales goals
  • Assist in solving customer complaints and technical issues as well as assist in developing short and long-term solutions with regards to QC, engineering, and delivery points
  • Research | report product line capability in relevant market segments | compare to competing product lines
  • Work with Engineering to improve | develop products to meet customer needs
  • Create customer/industry specific sales tools | presentations
  • Solve customer issues pertaining to company product lines relating to operation | maintenance of equipment
  • Work with Inside Sales staff of customer needs to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction are met
  • Follow up trade show leads
  • Perform basic field service calls to trouble shoot customer problems
  • Monitor competitor activities and developments
  • Educate End Users, OEM and Distributors on company products and product uses
  • Prepare weekly sales reports showing existing and potential sales volume, qualify sales channels, expenditures and budgets
